Disney has finally released their version of Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea which showcases the wonderful art by Miyazaki better than the other trailers but unfortunately features the dubbed voices. Blech.
So I prefer to listen to this while watching the trailer as much as possible.
Speaking of which, B thinks it’s the worst song ever and I just think that’s rude.

B: i hope the movie isn’t as irritating as that song

I was just talking about this with my friend Yuliy who has been in Japan for the past year as the Fulbright scholar (I have to be a proud Jewish mother and share this fact). He said, “Ponyo is retarded, its for really little kids. It wasn’t meant for adults like the others. It’s meant for like 5 year olds.”
I am now super bummed.
