Really Important Question: Dogs

I love Japanese television. Seriously, everything about it is so great, from the pointless subjects, the dramatic music and the audience reaction (one of the things I like to do while hanging out with my mom is to react with a big “eeeehhhh???” to every un-shocking thing she says).

Or maybe it’s just Japanese dogs that are so great? I love Japanese dogs!

So now I have to decide: when we buy our farm, should we get a Shiba Inu or (as originally planned) a black Labrador?

Here’s the upside to getting a Shiba Inu: I know for a fact that when I die, my dog will remain faithful to me until his death, even if it means waiting at the train station day after day. Oh wait. That’s an Akita. Dammit.

  2. That smiling dog is adorbs.

However, I do believe the Racist Camera would ask if somedog is blinking.

  3. this is yoshi, not joz. anyway, i say get the lab. shiba inus are extremely high maintenance, need lots of stimulus, and are 1-2 person dogs. if you’re going to have kids, get a lab. if you want a social dog that you can take out to the dog park or have doggie playdates, get a lab. incidentally, shiba inus are just smaller akitas. so they’d be just as loyal, i’m guessing.

    1. Right, but what are the chances of having a lab wait for me at the train station every day after my death? That’s kinda what I’m looking for.

  4. Yoshi is right.

Plus, you don’t even take the train so imagine how confused the dog would be when it didn’t know where to go to wait for you.
