If you’ve been ignoring the news (apparently Obama is already picking people to help him run the government?) and focusing your attention on the Internet, then you’ve probably seen the kitty riding the Roomba video like 5 million times. At least, I have. It’s very mesmerizing. I mean, I thought a creature dumber than me wasn’t possible, but there you go.
Apparently animal-Roomba videos are almost like an Academy Award video category, because there are TONS of these videos online. Who knew these vacuum cleaners meshed so well with animals? Well, for one thing, how can so many people own Roombas? Are you guys too lazy to vacuum yourself or something!? Didn’t you ever watch that Human Giant skit about how Roombas are going to destroy the human race? HELLO?
Here’s a cat who surpasses the viral video above. Cause like, not only is he RIDING the Roomba, but he’s also taken it to Comfytown, USA:

Apparently it’s all the rage to dress your cat up like a sailor.
My friend once dressed her cat, Tiny (who was not tiny), up in a sailor outfit and not only that, HE WON A KITTY CONTEST. I didn’t get any stories about Tiny vomiting all over his collar, but that’s probably because beauty pageant cats are more refined than that.
(OHH DISS! Just kidding, Lisa. I like Henry even though I’ve never met him.)
This is Lisa’s cat, Henry.
Lisa likes her cat to be properly dressed; hence, he wears a proper sailor collar (which she properly washes and dries for him–because he keeps improperly barfing all over it). I asked if it came with a miniature mop so he could wash the deck while singing songs, but she said that her cat clothing doesn’t come with chores.
I think that’s wrong because everyone (including pets) should do chores around the house to help out.
Some people celebrate “Caturday” and others rejoice over cat macros. I, on the other hand, would like to promote the very new “Abnormal Freaks of Nature AKA Yeah this is supposed to be a cat” theme day.
Like this guy. He has four ears. FOUR EARS. WHAT? Cats are only supposed to have two!!! (Thanks, Lisa)
And then this guy??? HE HAS TWO HEADS? Better yet, he can sleep and be awake at the same time. That takes serious skills. (Sloane showed me this one. I don’t know if he reads this.)
I was going to write this whole entry about how amazing deformed cats are and how we should celebrate their extraordinary genetic feats, but that gross third eye on that second kitty is just really freaking me out.
