Every morning, I have to peruse Google Trends to see what people are looking for, which can fall into two categories: hot news of the moment (celebrity, political or financial) or hot chicks. I’m not even kidding you; sometimes random female names will pop up (usually the girlfriends of NFL players) just because people are looking to find nudie pics of them.

So there you go. Don’t ever take the Internet too seriously.

But sometimes the craziest stuff just shows up–and it’s not like, one freak searching for dead bodies or something but massive amounts of people searching for the same thing, all at the same time.

This morning, the #16 slot on Google Trends was “i am extremely terrified of chinese people” and as you can see from the graph, it was getting hotter by the hour.

WTF, people. Did something happen in China that I didn’t know about?

I blame Miley Cyrus.
