Ugh. I don’t think I’ve ever writhed in such jealousy watching this video for behind the scenes of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Who’s that Asian girl? NO THAT’S SUPPOSED TO BE ME!

Okay, not really. Knives is Chinese, and I am not. She’s also in high school, and though I may look it, I am not. I am also not an actress nor am I adorable, so let’s just leave it at that.

So what am I even talking about? Oh. I was a bit skeptical about the casting and movie at first, but it looks like it’s all coming together really well, and I can’t wait until it comes out.

Also, all I have to say is that wedding planning is stupid. But party planning is fun. Now if people would just respond to my emails….

Old friend Lance shared this video from Gizmodo, calling himself a cold hearted bastard because it didn’t make him tear up. I’d have to agree, because though the idea of musicians from all around the world contributing to a single song sounds cool, I wasn’t ready to get all emotional over it. Maybe if they had included some cute starving children or something. With a dying puppy. Then MAYBE, but I’m more concerned with catching up on all the shows stored on my DVR.

Also, does anyone else agree that the Native Americans in the beginning of this video need to step it up a notch or two? I mean, c’mon. We’ve got a blind African American man singing with another guy strumming a washboard AND tin cans…while this tribe is just banging away on a drum in the easiest beat ever? Come one, dudes. Where’s your inspiration? Think about the Trail of Tears or something. LET’S PUT SOME FEELING INTO IT.

Sorry if you’ve already seen this video on your own or cause I shared it in Google Reader, but this is literally the same conversation that B and I have every time Star Wars comes up, except there’s a lot more Ewoks. It’s always about the Ewoks for him, but never about their forest moon of Endor. In fact, I’m pretty sure he thinks Tauntauns and AT-AT Walkers are like the same thing.

Ugh, I never thought it would be hard to go out with a non-Star Wars fan. But whatever, he’s the one with the massive comic book collection. That’s like SUPER nerdy, right??

I need to watch these movies again. Who’s in with me???
